Russell Engineering have a celebrity in their midst. Stephen Madden, our Group Fleet Engineer, won the Transport News “Scottish Engineer of the Year” award for 2017. Stephen’s hard work since joining the Group in late 2015 has been proven in the many initiatives he has put forward, streamlining operations and reducing costs for the Group and our partners.
In the past year, Russell Engineering have obtained authorised repair agency status for SDC, BPW, SAF and Maisonneuve, which continues to attract external repairs into the workshop. The business unit has also installed two additional inspection pits at Springburn which has increased capacity for internal and 3rd party work.
