As part of the Russell Group, we have been at the forefront of rail freight innovation for over 45 years.
Our Coatbridge rail terminal is strategically located between Edinburgh and Glasgow with direct mainline access to both the north and south. We are also just 3km from Scotland’s main motorway interchange connecting north, south, east and west. This site serves as a critical hub for UK wide rail movements connecting to major ports and other inland rail terminals providing convenient access to importers, exporters, and Regional Distribution Centres.
Extensive Rail Terminal
With a capacity of 2,520 TEUs, our 39.4-acre terminal features eight rail sidings, six of which are serviced by Rail Mounted Gantry cranes, along with plentiful laden and empty storage areas serviced by reach stackers and empty container handlers.
