Russell Group is pleased to announce it has signed up 70 employees to its 2020 training programme. Russell is highly invested in the training of its teams, providing development opportunities for employees to increase their skills, knowledge and experiences. The 2020 programme includes a variety of training courses which will take place throughout the year, including areas in health and safety, customer service, team building, first line management and lean manufacturing.
The training programme has begun with IOSH Managing Safely, taking place throughout January and February. Health and Safety is integral to our business and embedded in our company culture. Stuart Kerray, the Group’s Health and Safety Manager says:
“The IOSH Managing Safely course will provide our employees with the confidence and enthusiasm to apply knowledge in the workplace. This will improve the safety awareness culture in our organisation, see our productivity increase and enhance our reputation within our supply chain by embedding safety and health across the whole organisation.”
Russell Group plan to carry out similar training programmes on an annual basis, opening training and development opportunities to more employees to continually provide support across the Group.
