Human trafficking is a serious crime that violates human rights. It’s an issue most countries face and one we are all responsible for helping to prevent and end. At Russell Group we have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity within our business practices is imposed onto our suppliers and partners to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or our supply chains.
We are happy to share that Russell Group are partnering with Glasgow Caledonian University as part of a “Knowledge Transfer Partnership” (KTP). The KTP programme aims to help businesses improve their competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK knowledge base. The KTP programmes are funded by UK Research and Innovation through Innovate UK and are part of the UK Governments Industrial Strategy. Funding is awarded to companies who can demonstrate a roadmap and commitment to technological innovation.
