Receipt / Despatch Administrator

We are currently looking to recruit a Receipt/Despatch Administrator to join the Operations Support Team at our warehousing site in Hillington. The role will be based at Hillington with the requirement to travel to our Stepps warehouse when needed. The successful candidate will be part of the Receipt and Despatch team covering all administrative functions as required.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Using our WMS (Warehouse Management System) to book in goods at arrival
  • Produce documents to allow Operations team to receipt via scanners
  • Populate Customs and Excise declarations
  • Use of NCTS, ATWD and other HMRC Gov websites
  • Using our WMS to despatch orders and produce UK or Export documentation
  • Amend and adjust paperwork as required
  • Use of Site Security software
  • Support inventory and stock control team through populating data from counts or warehouse transfers
  • Documenting and archiving data and paperwork
  • Monitor email inbox and communicate daily with customers via phone or online calls
  • Support operations with administrative tasks

Key Capabilities

  • Experience of working with a WMS and HMRC Processes.
  • Comfortable working independently, with the ability to manage own priorities and workload.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a very high level of attention to detail required.
  • Professional telephone and email manner.
  • Good time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service skills.
  • Experience of HMRC bonded warehousing.
  • Must be computer literate as system processing and reporting is required.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills essential.

Additional Information

Hours of work: 40 hours per week - 8am to 5pm -Mon to Fri
