Customer Service Administrator

Job Description:

We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator to join the Customer Service Department. Based at Hillington, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to Customers and Warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily interaction with Customers.
  • Order processing
  • Booking Transport
  • Photocopying and Filing
  • Communication with Internal Departments
  • Always ensuring the highest level of customer service
  • Undertake of a wide range of administrative tasks.
  • Provide and maintain efficient and effective administrative support to the business
  • First point of contact for any customer queries
  • Provide daily reports/updates to customers
  • Carry out any other administrative task as advised by the administration supervisor and other senior management

Key Capabilities

  • Experience of working in a similar position, ideally within the Logistics Industry
  • Comfortable working independently, with the ability to manage own priorities and workload
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with keen eye for attention to detail
  • Professional telephone and email manner
  • Able to manage time efficiently & prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Experience of HMRC procedures would be an advantage but not essential
  • Must be computer literate as system processing and reporting is required
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills essential
  • Highly motivated and a pro-active team player

Additional Information

Hours of work: 40 hours per week - (Mon - Fri)

As we are involved in the service industry, employees must be flexible in their hours of work and comply with any reasonable requests by their line manager.
