We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee to join the busy Finance team based at the Hillington site in Glasgow, working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Sales Ledger process on a daily basis, processing cash receipts and taking a proactive role in the management and collection of debts from Company Debtors
  • Prepare statements and publish Aged Debtors reports to Business Unit Managers
  • Assist with resolution of customer queries relating to outstanding monies due
  • Assist in the preparation of Business Unit monthly management accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of Business Unit activity and variance analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of Business Unit budgets and forecasts
  • Provide support to Finance Team
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable by management

 Key Capabilities

  • BA in Accounting would be a distinct advantage
  • Commitment to study for CIMA professional qualification desirable
  • Good computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Speed with accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Proactive team player, customer service orientated
  • Quick learner with ability to work with minimal supervision
