The Rolls-Royce Treatment For Gerry

Friday 11th November saw the largest black tie event in Renfrewshire, the 8th Annual Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards hosted by Fred MacAulay at the Normandy Hotel, Renfrew in front of around 500 guests from local industry. Businesses represented on the evening included Diageo, Chivas Brothers, BAA, Rolls Royce, BoS, RBoS, Clydesdale Bank, The Malcolm Group and QAS.

This year The Russell Group nominated two of their Hillington team for Renfrewshire Employee of the Year, to recognise their commitment and hard work over a long period of time. The two employees nominated were Gerry Divers (Site Manager) and David Gribbin (Customer Services Manager), were both shortlisted for the award sponsored by Rolls-Royce.

It is with great pride that Russell can announce that Gerry Divers nomination stood out to Andy Ryley, Chief of Manufacturing and Engineering at Rolls-Royce who selected Gerry from all the other nominations to be the successful recipient of this prestigious accolade.
