John G Russell (Transport) Ltd was founded by our present chairman John Russell in 1969 and since then has diversified and grown from well established origins in container transport, hire and repair to offering a full range of logistics and value added services. The Group has expanded over the years with the formation and acquisition of businesses within other markets, which are now consolidated into three trading companies.

These are:

John G Russell (Transport) Ltd (Russell) - providing cost effective warehousing, distribution and transport by road, rail and sea throughout the UK and overseas.

Carntyne Transport Ltd - offering bulk transport of liquids, powders and other specialist goods.

Icetech Freezers Ltd - manufacturers of chest freezers to the domestic market
